Peoplesoft HCM 9.1 December 2010 Feature Pack – Company Directory Component

I thought of writing a continuation to my early post. More clarity emerged on the configuration and setup for Peoplesoft Company Directory. This is a major add on feature available in the HCM 9.1 Feature Pack released during December 2010 from Oracle. Also, this requires Peoplesoft 8.51.02 or greater. So, if you are planning to upgrade or implement Peoplesoft HCM 9.1 Feature Pack with latest Peopletools 8.51, you may want to check if you want to use the Peoplesoft Company Directory Module.

Company Directory is a component of HCM 9.1 Feature Pack. It is available as part of HCM 9.1 Feature Pack, so it does not involve getting additional license Costs.

Some of the features are interesting. Peoplesoft Company Directory component provides two types of pages:

• The Profile Page
• Org Chart Page

Also, there is a pagelet available to be used with the Portal for using the Company Directory Component. In addition to that, there is self service transactions such as modify address etc available in the Company Directory.  Time to check this out!!!
